Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching was established in 1993 under the Faculty of Education and served in Anafartalar Campus for many years. With the establishment of the School of Physical Education and Sports in 2007, the department left the Faculty of Education in 2009 and transferred to the School located in the Terzioğlu Campus. Since 2013, it has been continuing its educational activities in its current building within the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
